We are excited to introduce you to a wonderful world of unique luxurious silk scarves: a perfect affinity of art and fashion.

Each Fennec London scarf is a short funny story about English animals and currency, created for adults but understandable by children. It begins with the imagination of our artist who produces sketches for discussion with our Art Team. The chosen idea is then developed in a further sketch.  The Fennec London team extensively researches the animal of our story, and goes on a survey trip to find a real place where this story could happen. Everyone takes photos of the most interesting things there to share within the team. We organise a photo shoot with our animal character. For our first animal, a rat, we held a portrait session with Archie; a very smart and cute pet rat. After this our artist finalises the sketch of a whole scarf, keeping in mind that the Fennec London signature scarf is a unisex silk twill square scarf 90x90 cm. On approval by our Art Team the artist starts drawing, slightly larger than full size, the scarf’s story on paper. There will be no repeating images, a distinguished border and centre, and orientation of each side towards a viewer making sure that the drawing will always look impeccable, however the scarf is presented. This work takes a lot of creativity, skill, and time. That’s why our Art Team regularly meets with the artist until the final drawing is approved.

Fennec London supports British manufacturing by making our products in England: today there are 12 selected English businesses in our production team who make our silk scarves and rotatable fine art prints. We are proud that every one of our items is made to the finest craftsmanship quality, with high ethical and environmental standards.
